Delhi has inherited an astonishing number of magnificent monuments from various architectural periods and it's a delight to wander around this captivating metropolis. However, the main tourist attractions not to be missed are the Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub complex, the National Museum, the largest mosque in India Jama Masjid, the India Gate, Gandhi Smriti, Lodi Gardens and the Lotus Temple. Mysterious and enchanting, Delhi is today a bustling cosmopolitan city with trendy lounge bars, themed restaurants, nice shops and everything you would expect from a modern capital city. Delhi is a city of the present and future, but it is deeply rooted in history and has a lot to show for it.

The biggest attraction in Agra is the magnificent Taj Mahal, the 7th Wonder of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Other UNESCO World Heritage sites in Agra include the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. The Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife. The Taj Mahal is considered by many to be the finest example of Mughal architecture, combining elements from Persian, Ottoman Turkish and Indian architecture. The city was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and is a picturesque riverine city along the Yamuna River, enriched with Mughal palaces, forts, tombs, beautiful gardens and the old Mughal Bazar. The old part of the city is a very interesting place to wander around its narrow lanes and simply observe the people. Agra is a fascinating and very interesting city, home to very important monuments, like the world-famous Taj Mahal or the fantastic Agra Fort, places that will remain in any visitor's memory for life.

Hindu mythology tells that God released a swan with a lotus flower on its beak and it released the flower on the ground where Brahma could perform his great work. The place where the flower fell was called Pushkar. In addition to this legend, many more can be found on the origin of this town. Pushkar is located about 14 kilometers from Ajmer and about 135 from Jaipur. It is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for Hindus in India. About the destination: The fort of Jaisalmer is a sight to behold: a colossal sandcastle rising from the sandy plains like a mirage from a time long past. No place better conjures up images of exotic camel-train trade routes and desert mystery. Ninety-nine bastions surround the fort’s still-inhabited winding lanes. Inside, you'll find shops draped in vibrant embroideries, a royal palace and numerous businesses vying for your tourist euro. Despite the commercialism, it’s hard not to be captivated by this desert fortress. Beneath the ramparts, particularly to the north, the narrow streets of the old city hide magnificent havelis, all carved from the same golden-honey sandstone as the fort – hence Jaisalmer’s nickname as the Golden City. A city that has almost risen from the ashes in the past half-century, Jaisalmer may be remote, but it’s certainly not forgotten – indeed it’s one of Rajasthan’s most popular tourist destinations.
