Philadelphia's most famous attraction, the Liberty Bell was rung to commemorate the hearing of the Declaration of Independence on 1776. The Bell weighs 2,000 pounds, which may not be apparent by looking at it. Philadelphia is a spectacular city to visit. It is welcoming and loaded with history and has a great mixture of old and new and of historic and modern.
