The Liberty Bell, Philadelphia's most famous attraction, was rung to mark the reading of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Despite its 2,000-pound weight, the Bell doesn't look that heavy. Philadelphia is a fantastic city to visit. It's friendly, full of history, and offers a great blend of old and new, historic and modern. There are plenty of sites, restaurants, clubs, and museums to keep you entertained, as well as numerous parks in the city center and the rivers, which add to the city's peaceful yet lively atmosphere.
